All Titles available through Web-Legal.com can be made available through our FTP server, or can be mailed on a CD-R disc or a DVD-R disc. If you request a packaged delivery, the material will be sent via CD-R disc unless you specify a DVD-R disc in it's place.

However, you need to be aware that CD-R discs (and DVD-R discs) are inherently fragile, when compared to their "production" cousins. There are many things that can cause a CD-R disc to not read correctly in your computer. Here is a list of things that can cause grief to your CD-R based title:

  1. Sunlight - It's the natural enemy of CD-R discs. CD-R discs are made by reflecting a more-powerful-than-usual laser off of the "ink" in the CD-R discs, causing them to darken. Sunlight acts like a big, slow laser, causing all of the ink to darken, making the disc nothing more than a cute cup coaster.
  2. Scratches. These can cause your audio CD's to skip, but if you "skip" during a data transfer, it's toast.
  3. Fingerprints. See reason above. At least you can probably clean a fingerprint off of the CD-R disc, where a scratch is pretty much there.
  4. Disc flexing or heavy impact. This can cause the ink inside the CD-R to shift from one cell to another, causing the ink to become indistinct, and the disc to become unreadable. Please to not hurl the CD-R's against the wall, and expect them to work afterwards.
  5. Endless Play. See Reason #1, Sunlight. Think about leaving it in the player, with the laser on all the time. Get the idea? When you get the disc in, copy it to your hard drive, and then go store it somewhere.
  6. Heat. It can cause ink distortion, or in extreme cases, it can cause the disc to warp.
  7. Benzine, thinner, anti-static chemicals, LP cleaner, abrasives, or high explosives are all not good ideas. Please note that this is NOT an all inclusive list, I'm sure that someone will come up with more substances that wouldn't be good for the continued life of a CD-R or DVD-R disc.
  8. Please do not wash your CD-R in the automatic dishwasher. The toaster is not a good idea, either. Come to think of it, just keep the darn thing out of the kitchen, OK?
  9. If you still have a 5.25" floppy drive in your computer, please do not put the CD-R into it. Don't laugh, I've had to fix computers that have had it done before. By their kids, supposedly. On second thought, ignore that. If you do actually still have a 5.25" drive, the destruction that this will cause might just be what you need to get you off your butt and get your computer upgraded into the 21st century! :)

Arsenal Computer Inc. does not sell, trade, barter, or give away any of our customers information, period. Not a darn thing.

Now wasn't that pretty darn simple? (Smile!)

One of our most popular feature in years past was the automatic e-mail update, called the "Minuteman". We have discontinued this, because there are just too many problems associated with it now, and with all of the (unfortunately necessary) anti-spam measures out there, the darn thing rarely gets through to anyone anyway anymore. I would suggest that you just check our website periodically for updates.

When you purchase a content product from Web-Legal.com, you will be receiving a paper license for that purchase. You are legally able to use the product as soon as you make the purchase, and the payment is approved, but please be sure to get your paperwork handled as soon as possible, so that you have everything taken care of.

If the licenses came with your order (or your receipts, in the case of overseas orders), Then an "info sheet" will accompany the actual license papers. Read this info sheet carefully, and follow the instructions listed therein to officially activate your license.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Orders going outside of the boundaries of the USA have special requirements. Courier shipments, while available, are both seriously expensive, and tend to have more problems with local customs. We normally use Global Priority Mail for all overseas shipments because of this. The cost to ship via Global Priority Mail is significantly less expensive than any of the courier services, and the material has a smaller chance of attracting the "wrong kind" of attention.

Unless you specify otherwise, all overseas orders will be shipped in a MINIMUM of two packages, one with the discs, and one with the licenses and receipts. Orders that have more than three discs in them will be further split down into packages with no more than three discs each. All of this is done to help insure that you get your package with the minimal amount of fuss and bother.

We can, on special request, use your courier account to ship internationally, but we cannot be held responsible if your local customs service decides to stop the shipment.
